Play audio (I hear nothing in the preview of the app)

I have added audio to a blog post, and in the AppmySite preview there is the play button, and once I click on “play”, the track appears to play. However, in the preview app I hear nothing. Has somebody added audio (soundcloud or an inbuilt audio player from Wordpress) and can confirm that in the final app the audio can be heard? Or is there a way to hear audio playing in the preview app?

Hi @Henk this doesn’t work on their Preview module, if you use the AppMySite admin app to test your app then you’ll be able to confirm this.

I know that sounds do work from AppMySite apps for sure.

Hi @Henk,

We tested this use-case by adding a Soundcloud audio link, which is rendered in web view, and although you cannot hear it under the Preview tab, if you click on the “Test app on real device” button, you will be able to view the app on your smartphone device as well listen to audio.
