AppMySite price plans

Hi,

Does AppMySite just change its prices from $29 per month to $129? Overnight? What is it I am seeing in here? This looks like we are getting scammed. I paid for the liftetime just one month ago. When the price was a fair price. What is going on here? So scary that I am thinking that you guys are just scammers. Not sure yet - but waiting for an explanation on this prices!

Kindly,
Zayn

We completely understand your concern about the recent price changes, and we want to clarify that these updates will only affect new purchases and upgrades. The decision to adjust pricing reflects our commitment to providing you with the best possible experience. We’re continuously working to enhance the platform’s performance, security, and functionality. These improvements, including more powerful features and innovations, are designed to give you greater control and a more seamless experience for both you and your customers.

Hi,
I’m still concerned about the sudden price changes, seemingly overnight. I’m surprised that no one else is saying anything about it.

My issue is that some of the functionality now requires me to upgrade my plan. When I purchased the premium plan, it included everything.

For example, this feature now asks me to upgrade my plan, but why? Please see the screenshot added!

Kind,
Zayn

Hi @Zayn

The screenshot that you have shared is from the profile section. If you are already on the Premium plan then you do not need to Upgrade.

We also offer the functionality to downgrade the subscription if the customer wishes to. Hence the downgrade process is done through the same Upgrade button.

If you are already on the Premium plan, there is nothing more you can Upgrade to. The only functionality that may ask you to upgrade your subscription is for the app that is on the Free plan. The app on the Lifetime plan will not ask you to upgrade.

I just got a notification that my $7/month plan switched to “pay per app” and the fee for January is $129!!! This is shear insanity

It is in fact. That price changing is not because of inflation or oil prices out there. It is pure scamming in my opinion. It is legally impossible to change the price multiple times higher than what you have signed up for.

Hi @DawnWilliams @Zayn @Aomi

We appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback.

We completely understand that you may be disappointed or frustrated, especially regarding the recent price increase. Please know that this decision was made to ensure the sustainability of our product and its infrastructure as we continue to grow and improve our services.

Regarding support, we want to clarify that we do not force customers to purchase support plans. As an app-building platform, we provide free email support to assist our customers with building their apps.

For those who require additional assistance—such as help with uploading their apps to app stores—we offer a paid support plan. This service is beyond the scope of standard support, and we provide it as an added convenience to make the process smoother. Alternatively, detailed step-by-step instructions are available on our support website for customers who prefer to handle the process independently. You can access the support website here: Support Center

We are committed to addressing all support tickets in a timely manner, and we actively respond to inquiries here in the forum as well.

If you have specific concerns or need further assistance, please feel free to raise a ticket via this link: Submit a Support Ticket. We’ll ensure your queries are addressed as quickly as possible.

Thank you for your understanding.

“We do not force” while simultaneously transferring the new amount into the que for automatic withdrawal. The cancelation process was insane. In my opinion it is INTENTIONALLY difficult. For a change as drastic as $6 to $129 the autodraft should have IMMEDIATELY been turned off.

You should facilitate a new contract FORCING the client to see the drastic increase BEFORE agreement of a new autodraft. Your warning email was literally in my spam box.

These are unethical practices. You are going to cross the wrong client one day
and the FTC will be on your a**. It doesn’t take much for a lawsuit in America.

The ridiculous amount of complaints on Trustpilot. com is CLEARLY indicative of a future class action lawsuit.

You do not reply to your SO CALLED FREE EMAIL SUPPORT, it’s just there to exist.

In the end you are forced indirectly to purchase a sht plan for support.

Hi @Aomi

Thank you for reaching out to us.

We sincerely apologize if you’ve felt unsupported. After reviewing your account, we can confirm that all your submitted tickets have been responded to by our support team.

If you still need assistance with any of the issues raised, we’d be happy to help. Kindly share the specific ticket number(s) with us, and we’ll make it a priority to follow up and address your concerns.

Your satisfaction is important to us, and we’re committed to ensuring you have a smooth experience with AppMySite.

That was my initial reaction when I noticed the price change overnight. They claim to have emailed us prior to this happening, but there is absolutely no email to be found. Moreover, the majority of their users are on monthly autopayment plans, meaning many won’t even realize they’re being charged multiple times unless they actively check. I’m honestly speechless. This company seems to have been created solely for this kind of behavior.

As for this “Jacob” person—if he even exists—his responses feel completely robotic.

I’ve also just discovered that there are many other platforms available, ones that are older, more stable, and far more reliable.
